International Funding Database Search
This page of the International Programs Website is designed to assist faculty, staff, and graduate students in their search for funding sources external to the University for international research, teaching, and service.
Penn State recently proposed a new development campaign in which “Promoting Global Involvement” is one of the featured goals. The University encourages its faculty, staff, and students to seek an international dimension in higher education that includes conducting research, developing course curricula, creating art and music, writing books and articles, and engaging in other activities aimed at gaining global competency in venues around the world. Such projects often require funding beyond resources available within Penn State. International Programs is committed to helping members of the Penn State community obtain funding for international projects from sources outside the university.
This database contains comprehensive information on 175 agencies that support international research and activities for a wide range of disciplines and purposes. Two options are provided for searches:
- Using the “Keywords” field, you may search the database for grants in support of a certain discipline or for those from a particular organization. Try a number of different terms that relate to the project or activity you have in mind.
- The second choice provides seven options to narrow your search. You may choose one or more options to further define the results.
Good luck with your search!
