To meet growing demands for students
to enrich their Penn State education
with international dimensions,
International Programs relies on the
philanthropy of alumni and friends to
support rising costs.
Philanthropic support for
internationalization serves as a
powerful catalyst to transform our
students into knowledgeable,
understanding, and responsible citizens
of the larger world community
- by offering them opportunities
to engage in study abroad;
- by bringing international
students and faculty to campus and
making them an integral part of the
University community; and
- by increasing international
exposure in all fields of study.
Contributions to programs and
scholarships for International Programs,
International Student Services, and
Education Abroad greatly enhance the
Penn State experience and prepare
students to live and work in a global
economy. You can make a difference. If
you are interested in giving
opportunities, contact Daniel J. Genard
III at

Penn State
Education Abroad Alumni Program Group
Study abroad alums should consider
joining the Penn State Education Abroad
Alumni Group. This recently-formed group
has five broad goals:
- To offer mentoring
opportunities for those students
and/or their families who would like
to learn about the study-abroad
experience from someone who has done
it, and to provide students an easy
way to ask questions and get advice.
- To raise scholarship money
so that today's students can have
the extraordinary study-abroad
experiences that EAAG members did.
- To encourage networking
among study-abroad alumni so EAAG
members can continue their own
professional and personal growth.
- To plan occasional social
events for study-abroad
alumni.
- To promote student
interest in education abroad
through various awareness efforts.

Program Group, visit the EAAG Web site:
